Michelle2 experienced intrusive thoughts and continued to get increasingly worse until a psychosis set in.
Transcript
She was a healthy baby. There was no reason for me to have those worries. It was just my own intrusive thoughts. Then as I continued to progressively get worse, and that’s when I guess psychosis set in. Where I was doing things like skiing. I would ski all day so that I could sleep better at night, and I’d still not sleep at night. And then I remember telling my husband that the police were following me home. Like just to make sure that I got home safely, and there was police behind me on the highway on my way home, that’s it. They weren’t following me, but in my head I had that and I told my husband that. Then I remember like telling him I’ve figured this out, I’ve figured this out, in the middle of the night and he was just like what are you talking about? Go to sleep. I need to sleep. So during this we went and checked in with the local health nurse. And he went there asking like what can I do? Because this has gotten extreme. And she talked him through a little bit.
